The times when Ostrava was called a black city have been gone for a long time. Nowadays, the third largest city of the Czech Republic is not only the centre of the Region of Moravia-Silesia with more than 1.2 million inhabitants, but also an ideal place to live. Offering modern living, enough jobs and leisure time facilities, Ostrava enjoys a growing interest shown by investors. This is one of the reasons why the development division of the Metrostav a. s. company has decided to develop an interesting modern project, an original new building aptly named Ostravská brána (The City Gate) in the place where a historical gate to the town used to stand.
Ostravská brána (The City Gate) residential building is situated in the very centre of the city, only 200 m from the Masaryk Square, adjoining the greenery on the other bank of the Ostravice river. Outstanding features of this project include excellent accessibility to public and private transport as well as a great number of services available in close proximity. The new building is intended primarily for dynamic and promising people who like the modern living style, want to be cool and acknowledge modern trends not only in architecture but also in life style. And not only that. The strategic location of the building opens up numerous possibilities for the utilization of its commercial and business premises. Café, offices, shops... it is up to the future owner to exploit the unique and original character of Ostravská brána (The City Gate).
